Weekend Escape-
Did you know Sturgeon Bay built some large ships for the WWII??? I didnt until I went to the museum and talked to someone who built the ships!
what a beautiful (but cold and windy) view!
I wish it wasnt so cold!!!
what a strange looking Applebees, eh?
This was the fishboil that was really cool!
This past weekend Andy and I had the chance to have a weekend getaway to Door County, Wisconsin. Members of the church were kind enough to get us a gift certificate to stay at a Bed adn Breakfast. Neither of us had stayed at a B&B before and honestly weren't sure if we would like it. The gift was for the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay.
The innkeepers were exceptionally friendly, the room was quaint and peaceful. The weather wasn't too kind as it had been in the high 70s the previous day but was suddenly 45 for most of the weekend. For dinner one night we enjoyed a Fish Boil at White Gull Inn (see picture with fire!) It was quite tastey and included cherry pie. Yumm! We enjoyed our weekend there and may have to visit Door County with our timeshare sometime again!!!

Looks like a fun trip! I have always wanted to stay in a bed and breakfast but have always been too nervous...can't you hear everything going on around you?
