While Daddy was off at a retreat, I braved the 5 hour drive and took the kids to Rochester for our side of Christmas. The four grandkids received new sleds. D. had gotten a new coat and snowpants from Andy's parents. Here was our perfect opportunity to pose!
It was awfully cold- I think about 4 degrees! I only dressed D. up for the picture- and then he stayed home with Uncle Mike. We went to their hill and had a wonderful time. The three girls enjoyed their new sleds. The moms and Gparents enjoyed a little sledding too!
A. and I were brave enough to go down a very large hill. At one point I felt us being lifted from the sled. It was a bit terrifying but we were fine. After we left on Sunday to return home, my sis and her family went sledding. Her husband Mike got in an accident and needed to ride to the hospital in an ambulance. Thankfully he is home- though unable to return to work for awhile. I am so thankful he is okay.

Looks like fun! Our kids love to go sledding...when we get snow...which happens very rarely!
