Our Christmas

D's First Christmas

Andy's parents with A. and D. on Christmas Eve

I was able to dress my kids in matching PJs for Christmas Eve. I had gotten the idea from my blogger friends and couldnt wait to do it as well. This is probably the last time I will be able to put them in matching ones. D. is wearing 12 month and A. is in 5T.
We had a wonderful Christmas but it was a bit busy. Though Andy is not the senior pastor at our church, he had large responsibilities this season. At our church, Christmas Eve is the children's program. Andy preached for the Christmas Morning service. We came home, opened gifts and had lunch, and then Andy needed to go work on Sunday's message. Thankfully he did not have youth group Sunday evening. It was so nice having his parents come to our house so we didn't need to deal with traveling on icy/foggy roads. We enjoyed watching A. on Christmas morning. She was an excited and polite gift-opener... always excited about each thing. She was perhaps most excited about the Rapunzel doll and Zhu-Zhu Pets/accessories.
I'll post our mini get-away next!
