We have had QUITE a week! Friday night A. had a slumber party at a friend's because Andy and I took some youth to a concert
Rock and Worship Roadshow. It was a 2 hour drive so we did not get home until after midnight. The concert was only $10 per ticket! The bands were awesome and it was a great experience!
Saturday we went to our HS girls BB game- the state qualifier game- and they are going to state! This is their fourth year in a row! it is especially exciting for me because the coach is one of my good teacher friends! This is her second year of being a head coach, her second trip to state, and she is currently battling Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is my age and I cannot imagine what she is going through- she is so strong and someone I really look up to.

Saturday we also had another basketball game to watch. Andy has been a Northern Iowa fan since his friend Ben Jacobsen played for UNI from 2002-2006. Andy traveled to many games and tournaments to support his friend and the team. We were very excited when UNI won the first round, and words could not describe the excitement Andy felt when UNI beat Kansas! We watched the end of the game at Buffalo Wild Wings. Thankfully I wasn't embarrassed to be at the same table as him when the panthers won! It was very awesome! (I wore a UNI shirt to school on Monday but didn't receive the comments I had expected!)

Sunday morning we had Youth Sunday. Above is a picture of most of the middle school and high school students. The junior class gave the message and we also had an orchestra, praise band, kids' choir, and worship leaders. Every year I am amazed that the students can present a service that is meaningful, worshipful, and challenging to others. Way to go kids and way to go Andy!

And in two days I will be at 36 weeks! Our Spring break is next week and I have plans to finalize getting things ready for our son. I am also ready for a week of getting more sleep (if possible)! It will be weird not traveling anywhere for Spring break, but it will hopefully be a relaxing and productive time- and some additional quality time with my girl.
(We have a fun post to come about fire trucks. Im waiting for some pictures before I post.)
