Beverly Hills/ Rodeo Drive/Fish tacos

Finally, before leaving Hollywood, there was one thing left on my agenda. I simply HAD to see the famous HOLLYWOOD sign. I didn't need to see a star, or the home of a star, or even watch a filming, but I really wanted to see the letters on the hill. How funny that is this something I wanted to cross of my to-do list of life.

Here I am able to take a decent picture while standing near a Starbucks by the Highland and Hollywood Mall.Thankfully I found a nice couple to take the picture for me! HOLLYWOOD is there on the upper right hand part of the picture.

As I was leaving Hollywood and entering Beverly Hills, I felt it was essential to drive through some of the residential streets and see the homes. Again, these pics were taken as I was driving so I had just just snap as I drove. This is just one of many- it actually looks pretty typical of a nice neighborhood. (I do hope that if people drove through the streets of Princeton, NJ looking for homes that they werent too surprised by our seminary housing and mistook it for ghettos!)
I also turned down Rodeo Drive. Originally I considered doing a little window shopping but I was running a bit late because I wanted to meet Andy for dinner and I had no idea if the traffic would be terrible or not. (Nothing worse than Route One on a Friday afternoon!)
For dinner we went to Wahoos. Though the sound of fish tacos seems like of scary, they were really quite tasty! The price was good and the quality was great. This seemed to be a small chain. Pictures are not mine. I google-imaged them! http://www.wahoos.com/
