Chinese Theatre- minus the red carpet!
I had never been to a wax museum before!
Hard to believe our California mini-vacation was a month ago and I am still posting. Just a reminder, Andy was attending the Saddleback Youth Conference and I came a day early to explore CA on my own. After dropping him off on Thursday, I drove to Crystal Cathedral, and then drove on to Hollywood. Many people asked me, were you disappointed? Its a hard question because doing a vacation alone is not apealing to me. I applaud anyone who has, but its weird not to have someone to point things out to and share in the excitement with.
Anyway, I parked at the Hollywood and Highland Mall for $2/4 hours. I was quite proud of my deal. I wandered Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard trying to take in all the sights without appearing to be a tourist. I really thought I would blend in but I just dont seem to wear enough make-up or high enough heels! I saw some stars on the pavement (notice the Julia Andrews picture) as well as the footprints outside the Chinese Theatre.
