Shingle damage

You know you have a good neighbor, when in the midst of a winter storm warning, your neighbor is climbing on your roof to tear off shingles and replace them! It is icy, rainy, sleety, and VERY windy. Without a word, our neighbor climbed on our roof (we own a duplex so it is sort of his roof too- but our side!) and started fixing it! Neither Andy or I are very handy people when it comes to home repairs. I hope that he stays safe up there- and we'll have to figure out the best way to show our appreciation... monetary? cookies? gift card??? We also discovered a window in our basement that was leaking- thankfully it has since stopped.

Sunday evening activities have been canceled tonight- so we can enjoy a family night! I sure hope we have school tomorrow!

Wow. That is quite a nice neighbor! We live in an end unit of townhouses and our neighbors are nowhere near that kind!

I'll trade places with you - you can have our 75-degree weather so you and A. can go for walks if we can have your winter!!

Hey, I can't figure out why you can't see me on Facebook. I sent you a message. Did you get it?
