Jan 9-11 the entire Baker Family was able to enjoy a weekend retreat at Silver Birch Ranch in northern Wisconsin... complete with 70+ middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adult leaders! Mommy and A. are often jealous of Daddy's weekend retreats. Daddy invited us to come along. We could not have asked for better accommodations. She and I stayed in a room with two twin beds. It was as close to a hotel room as a camp can offer. It was great that we could be a part of the camp and all the activities but also could "escape" to our room for naps and bedtimes.

We enjoyed the meals, loved going sledding, seeing the horses, and spending time with Daddy. A. especially seemed to appreciate being entertained by the students.Participating in the praise and worship experience!
The 70 + people fit nicely into the lodge.
A. all dressed up and ready to go tubing.
Psycho Mommy worried that A. needed a helmet for the slopes. Once it was on she wanted to keep it on- even for the smaller hills.

A. called this a choo choo. At one point I think there were thirteen people on the tubing train!
A. and her Daddy! Here is a cool video. I was hoping A. could go tubing like the Big Kids, but I soon realized it would not be safe for her to go down the tubing runs. We found our own sledding hill instead!
