2009

We were fortunate enough to have a reunion with some friends. Its nice when one of your best friends from New Jersey has a hometown just miles from your new home! I always enjoy Christmas and the summertime when Sarah comes home. (Sarah and I have a lot in common... it started with the fact that our husbands went to high school together, then that we both teach, then that our husbands were going through seminary and are now pastors, and that we both enjoy shopping and gabbing about anything and anything!) We finally took pics together too after enjoying a lunch at Pizza Ranch.

For New Years we invited 2 couples and their children over. A. seemed to be okay eventually playing downstairs with her friends. We didn't make it until midnight but still enjoyed calling out Happy New Year! (We discovered that when Andy was a child his parents used to pretend with their friends that it was midnight and then put the kids to bed.) I enjoyed watching the ball drop in NYC and am glad we never did that in person. Brrrr.

I also included a picture of a BEAUTIFUL gift we received. A lady from our church made and painted this beautiful ceramic church scene that lights up. None of my pics do it justice.

We hope you enjoy 2009! We are confident that whatever 2009 brings us, God will be with us.
