Christmas Preparations and Family Fun 2013

As is tradition in the Baker household, we made some goodies to share at Christmas.  For the first time we made some Oreo Balls and some Nutterbutter Balls (made with cream cheese and covered in almond bark).  Everyone loved them!
We also had fun making our pretzel Hugs/Candy Cane cookies.  We all had fun with this process!
Oreo Balls.  Below are the cracker cookies with PB in between!

It was fun making these on the eve of my 33rd birthday!

We headed to Andy's parents on Sunday Dec 22.  The roads were not great the first hour but then they cleared up.  We enjoyed spending some time at the YMCA in his town- love that our membership gave us free admission into their's! They had a large slide the kids LOVED going down as well as a nice zero depth entry area and tornado slide.  The water was warm and we had so much fun.  Andy's parents also came and checked out the Y.

Daddy loved helping D. with his legos!
Thank goodness for cameras with delays- we were able to take this nice Baker Family picture!

The kids got some new pjs for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa!  We were afraid D.'s were too big but they fit pretty good!  A. loves that hers match her doll Rebecca!
Dec 25-27 we traveled to my parents house.  This was the first Christmas morning that we woke in our own home as just a family of 4.  It was wonderful!  Unfortunately, poor Andy was very sick and even missed the Christmas Eve service.  Im sure hoping no one else gets sick this break!  Below is a picture of our family with my grandma and grandpa, uncle, aunt, and cousin.

Today, Saturday Dec 28, 2013...  its 47 degrees outside.  We spent the morning sledding with friends and with it being so warm I decided we should go on a bike ride!  We got our bikes out and rode the 10 blocks or so to the local bakery!  Everyone loves the donut holes!

We hope you had a WONDERFUL Christmas with your families. I cant believe just a few days until 2014!
