This year we celebrated NYE in Des Moines. We met with two other families (our husbands are friends from high school). Look how surprised to see eachother these two guys are! :)
The water was fairly comfortable! The kids had fun at the slides and the big pools!
If I ask D. to "Make a silly face" this is the official look we get EVERY time!
Here are the dads and a few of the kids (there were seven kids total under the age of 10)
We enjoyed the headbands, leis, and necklaces provided by the hotel. We chose not to venture out and just ordered pizzas from the restaurant!
A. spent a LOT of time taking pictures of everyone! Here is a picture of me- sick! Note the gatorade on the table next to me... I was just glad I was able to be out of bed for a few hours!

Does it get old if I keep saying how great you and Andy look? ;) Because you both look awesome! I'm glad you had a fun NYE and got to catch up with some friends. Have a wonderful 2014!
