Thankful

This year we enjoyed Thanksgiving in our town.  Andy's parents made the trip to visit us.  We helped with our church's annual Thanksgiving meal on Thursday and served over 200 people!  I love how the meal is for people who a)want a meal because perhaps they are alone for the holiday  b) need a meal because they dont have the money for the meal   c) its family tradition to eat the Thanksgiving meal at the church.  This is our second year of helping and I certainly enjoyed our whole family working together to provide such a feast- free of charge to anyone and everyone!

Thursday night we drove to the town I work in so Hank and Dottie could see the school I teach in.  Then we checked out the big Holiday Light Show.  We all really enjoyed it.  The kids were tuckered out and we are thankful that T. made such a great pillow!

 T. is a young man that has entered our life.  He is in high school.  We enjoy having him over for dinner, exercising with us when we go for runs, and just hanging out at our house.  He is a great kid and our younger children certainly enjoy having this "big brother" too!  We are very thankful he is part of our life.
