My little model showcasing the Thirsties Wrap

It was fun this morning to pick out which diaper to have him try. I started the day with the fuzzibunz with an insert. Thankfuly I tried a flushable liner from Imse Vimse. The liner lays between the baby and the diaper. When the diapers get dirty, the liner allows the moisture to go throw but keeps the solids from touching/staining the diaper! Thank goodness I did that because it made the first diaper of the morning so much easier!

After that I used the flip one-size cover with a prefold tri-folded into it.

We then went to a lake with friends so I put him in a swim diaper. I am sure that a cloth swim diaper exists but I am all about being flexible and using cloth with it works.

He took a nap in the smartipants and it fit well.

Then I tried the thirsties wrap with a prefold

Finally, I put him in the thirsties duo fab fitted diaper with an additional insert and covered it with the wrap for nighttime.

I have done one load of laundry (cold rinse followed by hot wash using Tide Original Powder form). I dried them in the drier but also set up a mini clothesline on my deck to hang them occasionally.

Overall, My current opinion is...
This is really not a big deal- I am not overwhelmed and stressed about cloth diapers. I had prepared myself for this huge ordeal and in reality its not an inconvenience. I am ready to take on Day 2.
