A. had a great time but she wasn't quite sure what to think at first. We were really excited about the small slides that were just her size. Unfortunately, she was pretty upset because she didn't really like her slides- she wanted to go down the big people water slides!!! The reason we traveled so far to stay at an indoor waterpark when the Dells are so close is because Andy's grandma lives just 10 miles away. It was great to spend some time with her and a lot of time with Andy's parents since they stayed in Storm Lake too. I wish I had pictures to post but our little photographer hid the camera so we couldnt take it on the trip. (we found it once we got home) Have no fear- her grandparents took plenty of pictures so I will post them as soon as we have them. She loved the lazy river, lilly pads, and lots of quality time with G&G!!!
The drive home was a bit scary at times. We could only drive 35 mph for about 12 miles. We are extra cautious about driving in the winter after last year's accident. We are so thankful that we had a safe trip both there and back. On Thanksgiving we will be driving to Rochester to see my family for the weekend. My last Monroe Family Thanksgiving was 2003!
