Forever Friends!

This past weekend (Aug 9) I had the opportunity to spend about 20 hours (8 of it sleeping) with my best friend since second grade, Sara. After high school she moved to Oklahoma and later to Texas. I find it really cool that our friendship has lasted so long and remains strong, even with the time and distance as our enemies. Phonecalls and Facebook help, but it is great just to sit, talk, laugh, and hang out. I feel that her family and her husband's family have come to accept me as part of the extended family!!! I hadn't seen her in 13 months, but we were able to spend some time together and watch our children play together. Her son, I. is just one month older than A. and they also have another son. Besides just hanging out and talking over ice cream during our children's naps, we also had the opportunity to take advantage of Sara's photography skills. NONE of the pics I will have on this post will be from my camera. I look forward to turning some of them into 8x10s and perhaps a 10x13! I adore the black and white pic where her eyes show so much
Here she is dancing...
