Sabor! Brazilian Churrascaria

Definition: Churrascaria- a restaurant specializing in cooking meat over an open flame.

Imagine, you and eight of your friends, decide to celebrate your friendship at a restaurant in Milwaukee. The girls like it because its Valentine's weekend. The men like it because they serve their meat on a stick/sword! Its an all you can eat with twelve different meats (beef, pork, lamb, chicken) to choose from.
The gauchos walk around and look for whether or not your disk is turned red (no thanks) or green (more please!). They say what they have to offer and then place it directly on your plate from the sword!!! Occasionally I would forget my disk was on green and have to turn down the meat that was offered. My favorite was either the garlic beef or the fillet mignon individually wrapped with bacon.

If you aren't the biggest fan of meat, they also have a fancy salad bar- I didn't recognize very many things on there! They also served cheese bread, mashed potatoes, black beans, rice, and my favorite- fried bananas! We all ate more than we should have but the food was awesome so how could we stop! You will notice more pictures of the ladies than men- they were a bit camera-shy and I am just SO thankful that we could get the one group shot!

In the end, the men complained of being so full and loving it . The ladies continued to pride ourselves in getting to the restaurant first because we used directions instead of GPS. Eight of our children played together with two babysitters- so they had a party of their own! We all had a great time but will probably not be returning anytime soon- simply because of the price. We all agreed the food made the price correct- but it was still quite a bit! I'm just thankful we had a gift card so we could enjoy our meal without much guilt!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
