Our day began with a 7am phone call letting us know church was canceled. This meant that not only was the service canceled, but also the Sunday School time where our young children were to get their final practice for the Christmas Eve Program. The 3 hour practice was not quite enough for them on Saturday! I guess it will be fine!
I love Sunday Snow Days. Sundays are the most stressful day in our family and a snow day means we can sleep in, wear pajamas all morning, making donuts, and also not have youth group in the evening. I loved that we truly had a family day today. Take a look how we spent our day:
Here is A. showing the pretzels and "cookies" that we dipped on Saturday

Here is A. sneaking a bite...

She loves helping me make sugar cookies.

We took a break and did a little painting. She painted a lot at her daycare in NJ but that was when she was under one. I was hoping we would do some fingerpainting this weekend but all I had was watercolors. We made some pretty pictures and also made some presents.

"look!!!"
Here she is helping to make Pretzel Kiss Cookies... mmm (notice the chocolate on her face... I wonder how that got there...??)

And here is a picture of my new haircut! After my bout with pink eye and then strep throat- I needed a haircut to feel better! :) I can't believe I finally got bangs again!
