photo dump

I fully realize it is March 2018, but I spent some time looking over this blog, re-watching ADORABLE videos of my children, and I feel that it is valuable to have this location for pictures to look back on someday.

2017 was quite the year for us.  We spent the first six months living in the US and the last six months living in Nicaragua.  Lots of changing, lots of growing, lots of excitement.  These pictures might not even be in order!

The neighbors have a pet monkey named Oliver.
Here was our first day of school!
 A. enjoyed riding a horse near Laguna de Apoyo.
Here we are at Volcan Masaya.
A.'s fifth grade field trip to a volcano in a rainforest!
We are thankful for the community pool- especially on the hot days!
These boys are special to me!
 A. and D. dressed in the traditional Nicaraguan outfits for Fiestas de Patrias.
We've been to watch Nicaraguan baseball in their new stadium!
This picture is taken on the land behind our house when we walk on the cow trail.
This picture (December 2017) is taken on the dirt road by our house.  Notice the fencing.
