Poem for Mom

Its March 2016, been about a year since I last posted!  Besides the fact that the kids keep getting older and learning more and more, life is about the same.  Ty has graduated and is living with us and working.  A. is in 3rd grade and D. is in kindergarten.  Andy has added a college-age ministry named EPIC!  I began working towards my Masters of Education this fall through Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD.  It is all online.  The family has been incredibly supportive as I learn how to balance being a wife, mom, teacher, house-trying-to-keep-it-look-presentable.  Last night I was working hard writing a paper for my third class.  It isn't due for another 2 weeks but I like being ahead and not stressed and trying to catch up.  After a late night of thinking and typing, the kids lovingly woke me up at 5:58am.  They kindly let me sleep until 6:30am when they presented me with the following poem.

I will leave the spelling as written for the full effect.

for: Mom

My mom is a supper hero
A flying, justes making supper hero.
She's there when me and D____ fight.
And even in the middle of the night.

D____ says your relly nice
When we go to the store you check the price
You help me when I get stressed
And help me by a dress

My mom's not famas
But who really cares
She even has nice black hair

This was taken Mother's Day 2015
