Back to School 2013

 Its that time of year again (middle August in this state!) for school to start!  Our summer went by way too quickly as always.  We had lots of fun with our various road trips, library trips, bike rides, naps (oh wait- no naps this year it seemed...).  It was a fun summer that went too fast!  But here we are, celebrating a big milestone for our girl.  On Wednesday she started first grade!  Throughout every picture she would say, "First Grade Rocks" and then make her pose!

 I love LLBean Backpacks!  Her grandparents bought her this when she started jr kindergarten.  After two years of using it she can certainly get another year!  Those backpacks last and last!

 It was fun seeing friends at the bus stop- especially her good friend who is also in her class this year!

 There she is- getting on the bus- longer hair, taller legs, growing girl!

 For once I actually took pics of my classroom just a bit.  I switched rooms from last year and it was a bit more work.  I love having my "smart board" which for me is a Promethean board.  The room looks a little different since I took the picture but I get the idea!

 Before school started we made one final trip to the big city for some tasty frozen yogurt!

All in all- a good summer, and a great start to fall.  A. loves school and her teacher and I had a great first day of school today!  Looking forward to all that awaits us!
