So Thankful

This weekend Andy's parents made the 9+ hour drive to spend the holiday weekend with us.  One of their surprises for the kids was this adorable coup car- it is probably 20 years old- the toy of their friend's son.  I couldn't believe what great shape it was still in.  D. jumped right in and A. had fun filling his car up.
Thankfully, instead of stressing about the right food at the table, and how to have the food ready considering we have a 9am church service on Thursday morning, we instead were able to enjoy a nice meal at the Ostoff.  It was a relaxing meal- delicious food for the everyone.  It was even  better that I didnt have to do any dishes afterwards!

Here is A. posing.  She said she is making a heart.  ??
Lately, when I bend down to take D.'s picture-  he seems to think he is supposed to bend down too!  (you may also notice the chocolate pudding on his shirt-  Mmmm)
A great family pose in front of the fireplace at the Ostoff.
 G&G and A. and D! All SMILES!
 The Bakers
A rare picture of just the two of us!
 A. smiling on Sunday morning
Yes- we are all wearing blue and brown today!
I just LOVE this adorable little blazer- hand me downs are the best!
He is watching the geese flying in the sky-  they were noisy!
My boy and I-  he is such a handsome fella!

Thanksgiving morning we listed the things we are thankful for.  There have been more downs in my life than I expected- but the ups overpower them all.  I am so thankful for our two healthy children- who remind me they are mine by being adorable- and frustrating!  I am thankful for my marriage- to a man who sticks by me even when I am unkind to him.  I am thankful for finding a career that I feel called to- teaching math is something I hope to always do- I know its what God has put on my heart.  I am thankful that I have a new-found willingness to trust God- follow God- and let Him lead me.
