I always forget about the order these pictures appear on the blog. I didnt intend for it to be the first! I took this picture for multiple reasons 1)to try out my new camera if a fun shot 2) to display A's "shoe store" as well as remember the cries and yelling that occurred when she refused to put them away. Thankfully she eventually did. I'm glad Mommy and Daddy won this battle.
My children on Mother's Day... the sun was picking on A.'s eyes.
This morning I was trying to take pics before church. Thankfully someone took this for me.
This pic just brightens up my day- pure, unadulterated JOY!
My boy had some incidents with the concrete on Fri. (the reason for the hat in the pics!)Since September I have been having an internal struggle in regards to my camera. Obviously- I love taking pictures. I love capturing certain facial expressions and certain moments to remember. I envy my friends and their DSLR cameras. I love that the picture is captured the moment the button is pushed. I envy the clear quality of the picture. I don't envy the bulkiness or the fact that could take awhile to learn everything. I was saving up the money to buy one... but hesitant to spend the $500-700 on a camera.
For Mother's Day, Andy decided I should upgrade from the hand-me-down. I was unsure if I wanted a new camera if it wasnt the DSLR type. I read up on it and so far I am quite pleased. He bought me a Canon SX130IS. The quality seems great and it is very user-friendly. I can't wait to see how the pictures are once they are printed! Last night I teased him that with the money we saved on the camera- that perhaps I need to go buy a tent to go camping in this summer. Now... how can I convince him to camp with the kids and I???
