Getting a new washer and dryer feels like getting the best toy ever!
(and apparently this is a toy for my young boy, too!)
D. just LOVED watching the clothes go around and around. I love the picture above where you can see his reflection in the glass.
We bought our w/d used and they had been around for about seven years. We then used them about four more years. The spin cycle was just not consistently working and we found a great sale at Colder's. I also discovered that Colder's takes our used w/d, attempts to fix it, and then gives them to a community consignment place.
One last picture of our old washer and dryer.
My other big project for today was to call our cell phone company. I removed the pointless insurance on our phones and cut our bill down by $20/mo by cutting our minutes. We had only been using 500 minutes each month but were paying for up to 1400. I was able to put us on the plan of 700 minutes. I nearly laughed when the guy on the phone said, "I am almost to tears that you are conscience of how many minutes you use and wish to have the plan thats right for you."
In Wisconsin the bill is being passed that will cut my paycheck by $100/month. (Which we figured out after we ordered the appliances). Now I need to look into how to cut another $75 from our monthly budget. Oh the joys. Maybe our energy efficient washer/dryer will help? :)
